Pro 1PM no power measurement

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm on FW1.3.0 with 2 correctly cabled PRO 1PM switches. Both of them do not display any watts/voltage when switched on.

Does anybody experienced the same issue lately please?

Any ideas on how to solve this?

thank you

Can you please provide us a picture of the wiring, have you tried power cycling?

Wasn't there a problem with the previous firmware?

Here a quick view when I tested... Now there are on a rail...

Power cycling done, factory reset done... remove and re-add to shelly app done...

FW is now 1.3.0-ga3fdd3d

Let us assume live and neutral wires are occasionally swapped at the „blue“ terminals of the Shelly pro 1PM: In this case, the Shelly would not detect a voltage which leads to zero power value…

Addendum:

It is very likely that live and neutral are swapped:

No such thing as a stupid question 🙂. it's a common issue with the cables being swapped happens to the best of us. Just make a note on the cable that they are swapped.

To be honest: The cables are not swapped actually but now attached as intended. It was a wrong connection which caused the erroneous measurements…

Hi all 🙃

I am also having the same problem. I can control my Shelly, but my power consumption in always 0W.

i attach my wiring. I don’t have any switch connected.

This is to control a resistance of a solar panel.

i already tried with a led lamp (5w), and it still measures 0W

can anyone help me?

Please double check your sketch: It seems not to be consistent, cause  the automatic circuit breaker on the left will not work correctly whilst connected at neutral potential.

Wiring of the Shelly looks correct. Live and neutral are not interchanged, which would cause the zero power value. Hence I would assume a faulty device. Would propose to reject the device.
