Buy dht22 enclosures and put Shelly plus uni inside. It fits perfectly, and you can reach the reset button from outside without opening enclosure, just use a paper clip or other object to reach it through the vents from enclosure. Also, you have the convenience of a hole in the enclosure to mount it anyplace. If you want you can also make a back hole in the enclosure to feed the output wires on the other side of enclosure. Four months ago when I got my first Shelly plus uni it was very disappointing seeing it without the tiny hole the old Shelly uni has. I asked Allterco to add that tiny hole in new productions. I have no found any space where to make a mounting hole in that tiny device, so they have to figure it out how to do it next time.

Finally, after 4 months new Shelly firmware allows old iOS devices, and old firmwares to ping Shelly devices IP address, and reach web UI.

It is a Shelly firmware issue for old iPhones, and android devices. I asked Shelly CEO to solve this issue almost 2 months ago without success till now.

I already asked Shelly CEO to make hole in next production. I hope they will make it possible.

Anybody has an idea why I can not reach Shelly plus uni at 192.168.33.1 in any of my Apple devices? A blank page is what I get. I have tried Iphone 13, 7, 7 plus, and 2 ipads, and 1 Mac. Finally, with an old computer running windows vista 7 I succeeded.

I can not ping the ip assigned by he router, a blank dark page is shown instead. If I run the command the device gives me all the outputs. I have been dealing with this issue directly with the developer of Shelly plus uni, and with CEO Dimitar, but they could not replicate same issue at their facilities, so they are sending me a new Shelly plus uni

I do not get it. All Shelly devices including 2 gen are reachable just typing IP address on browser. What should I do different to reach Shelly plus uni at its own IP address?

Yes, I have an older iOS device, but when I asked Shelly CEO if I would have any issue related to iOS firmware he told me I should not happen. Also, I can not reach Shelly plus uni at its assigned IP address in my own network. What is more, I got a beta firmware from Alterco to troubleshoot some other issues I have found, but with new firmware I also was not able to open uni Web UI, so they are sending me a new unit, maybe with another firmware on it.

Neither of my Shelly plus uni are reachable at 192.168.33.1, nor at the IP address created once added to Shelly app. I get a blank page instead. Could it be a firmware issue?

It is clear to me that I have to use ground to trigger inputs, but it was not very clear to me if I had to power uni with 5 v only.

I do not have it very clear. According to Shelly uni plus schematic pins 6, and 7 seem to be used only for powering uni with 5V. It shows pins 1&2 for another options, that is very confusing.

Would it be possible in future firmware upgrades to make scenes based in value given by formula set in peripheral settings? Nowadays if you add voltmeter as peripheral the only options for scenes are given in volts measured by UNI. Also, it would be valuable to have more than 1 field to store more variables, and/or formulas, at least 3 fields would be awesome. For example, if you get velocity pressure with a pitot tube, and an analog differential pressure sensor, then with that number you can also get air flow velocity, and also air volume across any duct, air handler, etc, data which is invaluable to diagnose air conditioner performance, such as filter replacement due time, dirty or frozen evaporator, etc. I know that it would involve a lot of work, and hours working so hard, but at the end my lovely Shelly uni will fulfill more expectations from all Allterco customers. Finally, we need scenes for pulse counter. I just finished my first water meter, and everything goes well, except that the only options to trigger an event are now based on URL actions.

Will Shelly uni plus trigger inputs if uni is powered by 12 or 24 VDC? In sketch included in package it shows that inputs are triggered with the -5 V wire.
