Shelly Pro 2 PM Plus reset not working

Shelly Pro 2 PM Plus reset is not working. Performing a 10 second reset brings me back to a blue lit WiFi LED and I connect to the AP.
 
When using the Shelly app on iPhone, I receive a critical error to reboot my iPhone (!) after which I am not able to locate the Shelly Pro 2 PM Plus.
 
Any suggestions of further troubleshooting?

It is intended and correct that the device's own AP is activated after a factory reset.

Blue light indicator will be on if in AP mode.

I am however not able to connect to the AP, or finding the device; the Shelly app crashes
 
The iPhone 14 Pro runs
iOS 17.3.1
Shelly App version 3.59.11
and has 57GB of free memory
