Jay Posted July 13 Share Posted July 13 (edited) I am wiring my garage door opener. I can open and shut the door, but the sensor does not change states depending on the status. The light on the app is always red. I have tested the reed switch for continuity with a voltmeter prior to installation and when I approach and distance the magnet it works as intended. horkatz Posted July 14 Share Posted July 14 3 suggestions: Change the mode from Button to switch, change "Set relay power on default" to Turn OFF (with your setting the door opens after retrieving power, and, finally, overwork your wiring (too much copper visible).
