Alberto Posted June 5 Posted June 5 Hi. Just to know if there is some difference on the output of this gen 3 0-10 output. Is it only PWM signal, like in the previous version, or is it possible to set it in order to have a measurable tension in output? Quote Translate Revert translation? Members thgoebel Posted June 5 Members Posted June 5 (edited) The new Shelly plus 0-10V Dimmer Gen3 has an active 0-10V PWM output. Auxiliary voltage (10V DC) is transferred by a SELV-proofed isolated converter to the low voltage side. An output voltage according to the PWM duty factor can be measured (if the meter has a sufficient integration ratio). There will be NO smoothed DC voltage at the output pins, but an active PWM signal! Addendum: After an examination with a real device, the two last sentences must be revised: Output voltage of the Shelly 0/1-10V Dimmer Gen3 is smooth DC, with a very small triangle-shaped ripple. Linearity is fine at first sight… Edited June 18 by thgoebel 2 1 Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish

Linearity is fine at first sight… Really precious addendum man, I bought it and tried just today: it works perfectly on my viessmann fancoil. There is something deeply different in this gen 3 version on 0-10V output: - it is perfectly working in combination with a "common" fancoil 0-10v tension input - My old tester on this version reads 0-10 tension (it was not happening with the previous version) - when I turn it on I hear some relè clicking (I think that in the previous version there was not any relè inside) - they write PM in place of PWM output type (I ignore the effective difference in this case) I'm sure that this version will make happy many like me because finally it's possible to command any 0-10v device, with the previous version frequently needing some kind of conversion from PWM to tension not always easy. Great job alterco! PS: PWM is not something standard for what I understood, there are many different kind... this is why of the mess Quote Translate Revert translation?
