Possible to make H&T Gen3 send updates via Bluetooth gateway instead of wifi?

I saw H&T Gen3 has the bluetooth symbol shown on the product page.

 

If I have a nearby Bluetooth Gateway, would it be more power efficient for the H&T Gen3 to send updates via that instead of wifi?

Is this possible with the current firmware?

No Bluetooth is only intended for App integration with the H&T Gen3, Bluetooth is not available for other functions with the current firmware

Might be a good feature for a future firmware if possible.

 

Also another feature that might be nice is for a cable powered H&T Gen3 to act as a Bluetooth Gateway/proxy for battery/BLU devices too :).

It will not be possible, the device must sleep regularly so that the measured values are not distorted, also when operated with a USB cable

As interesting test, go and force the H&T gen 3 to wake up and report multiple times on the trot by turning on and off AP mode (single button press). You'll start getting readings multiple degrees higher within a few updates. The heat generated by the chips running makes a surprising amount of heat inside an enclosure.
