Virtual components for 3th party devices

Recommended Posts

With firmware 1.3+  we open a new world of possible integration. Now with Gen3 devices (Mini and soon Plus/Pro) you can control any 3th party device if they have API using Virtual components and JScripts. You can have local and cloud scenes based on Virtual devices values and changes.

As example I can control and automate my EV charger with Virtual devices and JScript executed on Shelly Mini PM. Charging power are balanced based of Pro 3EM data for the house consumption.

Soon we will add also allow historical data to be stored in the cloud.image.thumb.png.21867dc746848ebe960f55ec9d368240.png

"virtual components" is a really great feature. I use it on the Pro4PM to trigger my custom JavaScript function via Web as done previously via digital inputs.

Now, I've another feature request for the Home screen:

Changing the order of the sections:

  1. virtual components
  2. switches
  3. inputs

Even an option for manual control of the switches would be great.

Hello everyone, I use virtual components with a shelly pro EM. I was looking forward to this feature, everything works correctly with firmware version 1.4.0 beta. At the application level, everything worked correctly until the recent update to version 3.96.14. Now I no longer have objects displayed. Will a new version correct this problem??
