Update threshold too big

I do understand that more frequent updates cost battery life. For a proper usage to measure room temperature for central heating etc. It would be helpful to be able to customize the minimum update threshold down to 0,1 degree for both battery and power connected.

Hello Jlu,

Allowing 0,1 threshold is not suitable, because it will bring the following issues:

- Battery operated mode with 0.1 C threshold - Battery life would be shortened significantly and in, depends on the room conditions, there might be a need to change the batteries every few weeks/months. There could be temperature measurement accuracy issues.
-  Power connected mode with 0.1 C  threshold - Bad temperature measurement accuracy due to often wakes up and ESP chip heating.

According to the documentation, on external power it will unconditionally measure and report every 5 minutes, which makes it sound more suitable for controlling heating. (For controlling heating, it's more relevant to know whether temperature is changing, so that small adjustments to heating power can be made, in order to achieve a constant temperature).

Does documentation correspond to reality?
