Scenes

When creating a scene, you can create conditions where different devices interact with one another. You initially set a condition, and when it is met by one Shelly Device, you set an action to be executed by the same or another Shelly Device. For example, you can set a condition where one of your Shelly Devices detects motion, and set an action for another Shelly Device device to turn on your lights. There are countless way you can organize your scene(s) to suit your wants and needs.

Once you are on the Scenes page, click the ADD SCENE button. This can also be done by clicking Add Scene found on the Menu . Set the scene name, select a room, select an image or upload your own. Click the NEXT button. Set scene conditions, actions and settings. Once you have completed setting up your scene, press the SAVE button at the bottom of the page.

Once your scene is created, click the power button  to enable/disable your scene and the green play button ▶︎ to execute your scene actions.

When

Add conditions for your scene. Set a trigger-based or time-based condition. You can have multiple conditions set per scene.

There are two options when adding conditions: “And” and “OR”. Once you create a condition, you can add another condition by clicking Add condition located below “And”. In this case all of the added conditions must be met in order for the scene action(s) to be executed. However, if you click the ADD button below “OR” and add a condition, then the scene action(s) will be executed if any of the conditions are met. You can add as many conditions as you want to suit your needs.
