Is it necessary to use both provided line conductor connectors for shutter mode?

High, as a newbie I have this question: Shelly 2 pm items provide two connectors for line conductors. The given circuit diagramm for the shelly 2 pm gen. 3 for connection in shutter mode shows a connection of both connectors to one line conductor. This d

iagrammlarge.PLUS2PMJalousie_en.png.fdd4d42d659 for the shelly 2 pm shows only one connector connected to the line, and that would be nice to save some space. So is the connection of both connectors necessary, and if so, why?

The two pins of Shelly plus 2PM denominated „L“ are internally connected with each other. Thus, a wiring of both pins with live potential (as a power source) is necessary if the maximum switching power of the device shall be used. In normal applications (lighting, cover/roller control) the double wiring is obsolete.
