MPe
Hello everybody! I operate several shelly 1 mini gen3 in alternating or cross circuits. The following happens with only one Shelly 1 mini that is in an alternating circuit: I install the shelly. After a few minutes of operation during which everything works as expected, the shelly starts to switch the light on and off very quickly. This continues until I remove the module again. After reinstalling it, the same thing happens again. I suspect that it has something to do with the configuration or the temperature (the module is very warm). Has anyone ever observed anything similar and how can this be rectified? There would also be enough space for other module types. Thanks a lot! Quote Translate Revert translation? Members thgoebel
Could you provide a sketch of your wiring? Would be brilliant to understand the issue… Quote Translate Revert translation? Members thgoebel
Does the erroneous cycle start if lamp is turned on? Or does the flickering happen „out of the blue“ - in off-state of the lamp? MPe
It happens when the light is on. and yea... out of the blue... Edited September 15 by MPe Quote Translate Revert translation? MPe
I tested some more points. It seems that the error does not appear, when switching on the light e.g. with alexa or with the shelly App. Quote Translate Revert translation? Members thgoebel
What is the wattage of the lamp? If I understood you correctly, the Shelly gets hot during the erroneous flickering. With a standard lamp, this shouldn’t happen! Hence, the Shelly could be faulty. Please double-check your wiring: If this is ok, you may file a claim. Quote Translate Revert translation? MPe
The wattage is 85W in total. Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
