Unfortunately, when the motion detector is "off", there is still ~120V at SW (when the motion detector is active, there is 230V). The Shelly then does not switch. Members thgoebel Posted August 11 Members Share Posted August 11 (edited) The voltage (120V AC) between SW and N isn’t relevant, cause the voltage can be measured without a motion detector. Most likely, the motion detector needs a minimum output current. This issue can be solved by (a) an intermediate relay (relay coil is wired between the output od the motion detector and neutral; the (NO) contact of the relay between live and terminal SW)., or (b) a „Grundlastelement“ and a resistor, as shown in this diagram: Explanation:: BWM: motion detector GLE: „Grundlastelement“, base load element: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Eltako-2322616-ELTA-element-piece/dp/B000UW140I?th=1 Other Shellies than Shelly plus 1PM may also be used. Aber das sind dann wieder rund 10€ 🤔 … ein NoName BWM kostet ja kaum mehr. Gibt es an sich BWM, bei denen das ohne GLE/Widerstand funktioniert? Es handelt sich um einen Optokoppler. Leider ist das Teilchen nicht separat zu erwerben - frühere Vorstöße, das Ding käuflich verfügbar zu machen, waren fruchtlos. Die LED-Seite dieses Optokoppler-Moduls hat zudem einen recht hohen Widerstand, der u.U. die Mindestlastanforderung verschiedener BWM nicht erfüllt.
