Johncoffee Posted May 30 Share Posted May 30 (edited) Since I updated my BLU door sensors from firmware version 1.0.6 to 1.0.16 (a significant update, spanning 9 versions), the sensor now sends packets to the gateway every 30 minutes. This seems to be a 'still alive' message. I noticed this change by observing the packet ID in Home Assistant (see the attached image of the packet number logging). While I appreciate this feature, I wonder if it will impact the promised 5-year battery life. The calculated number of messages per year is 17,520!
