Takida Posted May 14 Share Posted May 14 (edited) I wondered if it would be possible to have a virtual device show up in the Shelly Dashboard that does not have an associated physical shelly device. Or in case that's not possible, if a sensor could directly update a Virtual Component with the Shelly Cloud without having to go through the associated device. My use-case is that I want a 3rd party sensor to directly connect to the internet and update some Virtual Component values without having to somehow involve a physical Shelly device in the communication. (I want to keep everything as simple as possible) Edit: important, the sensor is battery-powered and won't be "on" all the time. So a solution where a Shelly device polls the current values won't work, the sensor needs to be able to update (push) the values when it wants to, not the other way around!
