  1. Yea here are some pictures, I know wiring looks bad and I am printing some holders for the wago, but I dont want to reorganize all the wires, to much work. I also have a probklem, that the shelly pro 1pm doesnt want to connect via ethernet, just wifi. I trying to configure it via ethernet as main, because the wifi is so unstable, but its really hard, any suggestion.
  2. So I chose the Shelly pro 1 pm for 3 reasons. 1. The capabilities of being turned off via WiFi, what I want to make is a completely remote setup, where I can activate, print and disable my printer from school. 2. The function of power monitoring, because I will build some vorons for my school and I need to find out the cost to power the printer per year (1 month times 12). 3. The Ethernet port, because the printer is connected via Ethernet and WiFi in basement is bad, so the Shelly should also use Ethernet. The cable you marked is from the main power switch, next to the motor with also the blue coming out and those 4 pins like things. This is the live wire for the whole system, so Like the live wire from the your wall, but for Saftey reason I still pass the wall power through that switch(where the live you marks comes from) So I can turn off everything for sure when working on printer ( i still unplug cable). Also tested the wiring in my printer yesterday with the schematics above (without the separate switch box, will implement ones it prints) and the connection via wifi worked (could turn on and off) and there was nothing shorted, today I can also test if power consumption will work. Because printer is still being upgraded with other parts. In general thanks for your help, in the beginning didn’t understand wiring at all but now I do a bit better, I will not close this thread/post yet because I am unsure if power monitoring will work.
  3. Ok so that’s good to hear, that those schematics look right. You mentioned that to monitor power and turn it off and on, I would only need one wago for the Live (the in red circle) and I want power monitoring. The wago that I circled red would be used for the PSU 24V, PSU 5v, heated bed, …., so the entire printer. If I now remove the wago that I drew and crossed with red lines, wouldn’t the Life wire from the main power switch got into the Live wago in the red circle and directly power the 3d printer/System (and make the Shelly “useless”)?
  4. Hello Thanks for the response, I drew some better chematics, i am not sure if I understood right, but the first picture is without the switch that would connect to SW1 and the main power switch would cut off all power to the printer, including shelly (this is just to be sure i have right basic wiring): Explanation of what I drew. I would have an extra Live wago, that would get power from the main power switch and then split it with shelly to L and the I port. Then the N would be from the N wago shown in the manuel and that supply N to PSU and so on. The O would go to the L wago on the frame, that is not direclty connected to the main power. That L wago would power the rest of the system Now if I would have a seperate switch, from the main power switch, this switch would be connected to shelly and not cut off power from shelly, but connected to SW1 to send singal that changes state of shelly (on/off). Is the wiring drawing I did correct? The main power switch would still cut all power.
  5. Hello I am confused on how to do the wiring and wanted to ask to bes sure, I have a 3d printer and want to use my shelly pro 1pm with it. My wiring looks like this: Now all my printers electronics are hooked up to those wago connectrs (like PSU, Heatbed and more), but as far as I understand I cant directly connect the shelly plus 1pm O (output) to the nutreal, so blue wago to the right. I made a sketch to illustrate it a bit: How should I wire it, can i connect the Outpur blue wire from green terminal to the wago most to the right? Also an top, I have a power switch, you can see the back of it in the picture next to the motor. How would i do that wiring with the SW1 so the power switch doesnt cut of power to the shelly, but the the rest of the system/ printer parts?
