Hi,

I'm having trouble understanding why the two different wire terminals were chosen with the design of this device. The green (output and input) screw terminals work fine with 2.5mm² stranded wire with sleeves crimped on them.

But the ingoing power (which should always be beefier than the connected/driven accessories, in my opinion) is smaller in accepted diameters. max 1.5mm². It's annoying that there are two different diameters and inside the breakerbox usually is connected with 2.5mm².

Preferably I would like to see screws terminals that are detachable (if you need to replace the shelly) and/or see terminals like in the dual shutter Shelly Pro Dual Cover/Shutter PM (outgoing screw terminals)

Cheers.

The blue terminals are for supply of the Shelly only (some ten milliamps) and to connect the switches/buttons (some microamps). Thus, there is no need to attach wires with more than 1,5 qmm (according to the fuse to protect the wires).

True, but still, why have two different gauges of wire terminals...

in: max 1.5mm²
out: max 2.5mm²

it does not make sense
