SheShellsShells Posted November 22 Posted November 22 Hi, I want to use a Shelly to open my gate. But the switching voltage of my motor is 36v DC and 1.2A. I only saw them capable of 30v DC. Is there a solution.. Or can I use it anyways? Thanks Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish

Or reduce the lifespan? Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
wooly Posted November 23 Posted November 23 (edited) normally a 20% tolerance is implicit. you are just on border. I would try. expecially since current is not high, if it is really 1.2 A I would say you are 99.5% safe. Expecially because current on motors is higher when starting, while for relay the problem is on opening [when motors absorb much less]. Edited November 23 by wooly Quote Translate Revert translation?
