Opening my gate

Hi, I want to use a Shelly to open my gate. But the switching voltage of my motor is 36v DC and 1.2A. I only saw them capable of 30v DC. Is there a solution.. Or can I use it anyways?

Will it not blow up/damage itself? Or reduce the lifespan?

normally a 20% tolerance is implicit. you are just on border. I would try. expecially since current is not high, if it is really 1.2 A I would say you are 99.5% safe.
Expecially because current on motors is higher when starting, while for relay the problem is on opening [when motors absorb much less].
