Hi,

my TRV are controlled by an external thermostat, and when steady quite accurate….however I consider they are relatively slow to react to changes, and overshoot dramatically…up to 1 degree C over the setpoint. They are mechanically calibrated and the temperature sensors are precise. The valves are free and not stuck or require extra power to open. Accelerated heating is off. Firmware is 2.2.4 (the lates as of today).

Do TRVs learn from their mistakes over time?

Is there a way to control the maximum opening, i.e. reduce the max opening of the valve?

They seem to be quite crude in their regulation, and I am looking to improve the performance.

Thanks for reading!

Henrik
