ShellyWallDisplay refuses updating

I have a Shelly Wall Display with a ver outdated firmware (Version: 1.2.3-hotfix2; Firmware revision: 20231023-111637/1.2.3-580131e2-hotfix2). The Device insists that there are no new updates to it.

I was unable to find/generate an update link or getting the update to work.

What I already tried:

• Looking in the debug log for clues (log is always empty but all debug options are checked and it says "connected")
• soft/hard/and factory reset

Any clue woud be greatly apreciated.

I have the exact same problem. Current Firmware is on 1.2.x but it doesn't find any update. The link from @Olsche doesn't work anymore.

Thank you for the links.

If I try to copy both links into Custom Firmware Upload, I'll get an error that the Wall Display failed to update.

 

Am I doing something wrong?

Most likely, your WD isn’t connected with the internet!

It has the same settings (network and static IP Settings) as my other Shelly devices. I'll try to connect it again.

Unfortunately, the Shelly WD doesn’t work with static IP addresses…
