Johan Rönnblom Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Installed a Dinmer 2 and it works great in general - no flicker, dims to a very low level, app and physical button works. Except, unless the dimmer has been set to 100% for a few seconds, turning it off in the app or with the button will not completely turn the lamp off. Instead, it is dimmed to a very low level (actually only 1 out of 3 led lamps emit any light). installed with no neutral, using latest firmware. Have not tried all possible settings as I can’t find anything that seems relevant - surely off should always be off? Quote Translate Revert translation? DanDanDanK Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Did you run "Calibration"? Look under Settings in the web UI. Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish

It makes no difference. But I don’t see how it would, surely the calibration is for determining the 0-100% dimming states, not to figure out how to turn the lamp off. i understand that there will be some current due to there being no neutral attached, but the lamp can be reliably turned off. It just requires setting the dimmer state to 100% for a short time before turning off. Quote Translate Revert translation? DanDanDanK Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Maybe you can write a script that handles the special "switch off" procedure that your lamps require? https://shelly-api-docs.shelly.cloud/gen2/Scripts/Tutorial Quote Translate Revert translation?
