Franz-Georg Posted November 12 Posted November 12 Hi, I have problems adding my Shelly Pro 3 to the Shelly App. I attached the Shelly to our LAN (RJ-45) and changed the Network Setting to a fixed IP-Adress, Netmask, Gatway, DNS-Server Next, I started the GUI through this interface, updated Firmware to latest level, added a password for device login Up to this point everything worked fine. I installed the Shally-App on an iPhone, created an account and logged in. In the "add device" section I found the Shelly (both via Bluetooth and WLAN AccessPoint). But if I proceed, I have to enter a WLAN SSID and Password !!! I have tried many things but I am not able to add the device to the App successfully. Questions: - Why is a SSID and Password requested ??? The Shelly is connected with RJ-45 to the internet already ! - What is the correct network of the requested SSID ? Is it the Shelly's access point network or is it any external network with internet access ??? - Are there special requirements for the cable-attached network, e.g. do we have to open any ports in the firewall ? - Is there a step-by-step installation guide for setting up the device with a cable-attached network ? Thanks in advance for any help ! Franz Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish

Now, it works perfectly. Thanks ! 1 Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
