H&T via RPC or 'always on' - Please some clarification

Hi - This seems to be a reoccurring topic, so I'll put it all together with the hope of an answer from someone (or Shelly)

I have a H&T which I'd like to get the data from - preferably via RPC

I am aware it goes to sleep under normal circumstances to save power.

1) Someone posted that you can have it always on, if you plug it into USB - does anyone know how to do this?

2) Otherwise - can anyone think of a way to get data from the device either a) regularly at a timed interval, or b) have the device send webhooks regularly, so perhaps one every .5 degree change? 

With webhooks - has anyone got a sample webhook to share, as when i tried, I got nothing 😞

Ideally - i'd just like to have the device permanently connected to Wi-Fi, so I can use RPC to pull data when I want.

@Shelly Your devices are great, and this would allow me to throw away my infernal  Netatmo, that I can't get data from very easily either. Please make me happy!

Hi - I'm replying to my own post. I got it to send the webhooks now, but i'd be happier to do RPC calls, so that part of the question still stands.
