JohnUS Posted November 7 Posted November 7 I have written home automation software in the past and am experimenting with that possibility again. I see there are a few methods of communicating with Shelly devices, but my first test are with simple URLs from a browser (or simple web page) to Shelly devices. For example: http://10.0.0.32/relay/1?turn=on I get a Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) error. I use a few different Shelly device types, of which, only two types have a setting to allow Cross-Origin Resource Sharing, and of those, testing shows that only one actually works. Has anyone had experience with this? Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish

JohnUS Posted November 15 Author Posted November 15 Hello Heinz, I have several other Shelly devices, but the ones I have tested with for CORS are: Gen1: Shelly1: Does have a CORS setting, however it does not work and results in a CORS error. Shelly RGB2: Does have a CORS setting, and does work correctly. Plus (is this Gen2?): Shelly Plus Wall Dimmer: Does not have a CORS setting, and results in a CORS error. Shelly plus Plug US: Does not have a CORS setting, and results in a CORS error. Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
