Rafa Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Hello, I'm looking to install a Shelly Pro 3EM (120A) to monitor my whole house energy consumption. My (Belgian) connection is a 3phase 3x 400V +1N, does the Pro 3EM support this type of connection? Quote Translate Revert translation? Heinz Posted November 24 Posted November 24 @Rafa that would be the Pro 3EM 400A version that would be an option here Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
Members thgoebel Posted November 24 Members Posted November 24 Why should he use the 400A version, @Heinz? A Shelly pro 3EM would do the job… Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
Heinz Posted November 24 Posted November 24 With 400V would that not be above the 120A range ? Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
Members thgoebel Posted November 24 Members Posted November 24 Voltage is voltage, ampere (A) is current. 400V is both supported by Shelly pro 3EM and pro 3EM-400. The 400 is Ampere. Thus, the Shelly pro 3EM-400 has larger current clamps. I suppose @Rafa is asking cause in wide parts of Belgium a Y network without neutral is used with 230/133V. Mains socket are connected between two live wires to achieve 230V. The voltage between live and ground (133V) is IMHO not used. For safety, a PE wire is led to each premise. 1 Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
