mikey38654 Posted November 6 Posted November 6 Hello, I am new to shelly and looking to incorporate it into a project. The project is a quad box with power monitoring and remote switching. My question regards the external switch. When sourcing my switch, what specs/ratings should I look for in the USA? Can I use a 12v switch or do I need one rated for 125/250v? Thank you in advance! Members thgoebel Posted November 6 Members Posted November 6 (edited) Essential are the isolation parameters: Although the external switch (wired with terminal SW and L) has to cut-off a very small current (approximately 36μA at a voltage of 3 V DC), it’s contacts have the potential of live wire. Thus, a 125/250V switch is recommended. Edited November 6 by thgoebel Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
