100 Posted November 4 Posted November 4 Shelly Wave i4 is affected with delay after pressing hardware button, just like other Wave products described here for Wave Shutter or here in general. Is it any fix planned for it? What is the ETA? Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
Shelly Shelly Wave help Posted November 5 Shelly Posted November 5 Can you explain us how do you get the delay? How is the device configured (inputs) and what button or switch is connected to which input in order to verify why you have this delay. Also if you have any automation or scene or anything else added to the button triggers. Quote Translate Revert translation? 100 Posted November 5 Author Posted November 5 There's a small delay (probably 500ms) in my Wave i4 between pressing physical switch and the state change in Home Assistant. I also have Wave 1PM Mini and Wave 1 Mini, located in exactly the same spot - they operate without any delay. I have automations (turn on light) on all my Shelly Wave devices, and the lag is present only in i4. My i4 firmware version is v11.5.0 and sdk is v7.20.2. Running with Aeotec 700 stick firmware v7.21.4. In configuration SW1 Switch Type is Toggle Switch (Follow switch). Attaching wiring diagram: Quote Translate Revert translation? Shelly Shelly Wave help Posted November 8 Shelly Posted November 8 We did try the Wave i4 with the latest firmware and we didn't encounter a delay that you mentioned. Below the video of the test done, as you notice the command is sent out immediately when the button is released for the pressed 1 command.
