TRV, best of two worlds

Personally I am not satisfied by the characteristics of shelly's TRV . because it lacks the feature of normal standalone programmable valve actuators, so itmust be used with an application running on a server, so putting a possible additional point of possible failure, beside the gateway.

So i got a new non internet connected device. this one however has also an usb port that can be used to reprogram it . The suggestion is to make an agreement with distributor of this quite cheap device to produce a gateway to be connected to USB port of the TRV , enabling a remote reprogramming., but at same time keeping all goodies of a local manual programming, achtive ven in absenge of connections.
