Revinor Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Looking at the white led strips with dense elements, they often use 10-15W per meter. Do I get it right that with 15W/m, Shelly RGBW PM will be able to drive only 2m long led strip from single output (30W/12V = 2.5A, near the 3A max of single channel)? And if I would like to have 6m long strip, my only option is to use 24V power supply and chose led with smaller element density (so it won't breach 10W per meter)? Or am I counting things wrong? Members thgoebel Posted October 27, 2024 Members Posted October 27, 2024 Single channel rated current is 4A. Maximum 10A per device. With 15W/m, this allows 3,2m stripe length (single channel). Two channel operation allows 6,4m. For more length, look for PWM amplifiers! Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) French German Italian Polish Portuguese (European) Spanish
