Recommended Posts

im very new too dimming

With a Shelly dimmer 0/1-10V PM Gen3 i wanne try to steer a Solid State Relay, Single Phase, 0-10V

I think the Shelly needs a external 10Vdc? or does is needs a driver?

I used this version and it works perfect for me:

Hi, i find your idea great, could you share more detail on the implementation? I would like to try it out on my setup.

Did you really use that SCR in the picture or that was just for ilustration? Using any passive cooler?

That heater goes beyond the 16A, is it safe for the shelly?

How did you set those in ha?

The type of the SCR is really the typ what i use. Link

  • I use the 40Amp. type you can also choose 10, 25 or 80 Amp.
  • Below ~ 750watts you can use it in free air with higher power i mount it on the metal-plate of the control cabinet.
  • On the website you can also buy a suitable heat sink

Up to 13 amps you can implement my schematic diagram 1 to 1 using the internal power measurement.

Over 13 amps you would need to use a relay on the "Dimmer 0/1-10V PM Gen3" and a power measurement with "EM Gen3" or "Pro EM-50".

Basically with the standard implementation and a few add-on visualisation cards.
