larryluu Posted October 25, 2024 Posted October 25, 2024 i have Shelly PlusPlugS D4D4DAE91F5C| 1.4.2 Is there anyone here who is an expert on Shelly and SSL against MQTT? I'm unable to connect my Shelly device to my MQTT broker, which works perfectly fine with all other devices, not my Shelly. I just get an error that doesn't make sense! It works everywhere else.. shos_mqtt_conn.c:608 MQTT0: Invalid SSL config: -15616 21:57:43 shos_mqtt_conn.c:810 MQTT Error: -16 21:57:43 shos_mqtt_conn.c:885 MQTT0: Connecting after 8882 ms While I have a tail -f in the log file on my MQTT broker, it's open. It doesn't even try to connect (according to the log) Someone who can help me who is an expert on this Quote Translate Revert translation? Alejandro Posted November 20, 2024 Posted November 20, 2024 Maybe you have FW version 1.3.1 or 1.3.2 on your Shelly? We have experienced a nasty bug on these versions, that prevents the Shelly registering on te MQTT Broker due to problems with the certificate. Note that FW 1.3.0 and 1.3.3 both work OK. And even the nasty ones: 1.3.1 and 1.3.2, in our case were previously working OK, until one day the Broker certificate updated, and Booom!!!, seemingly due to a change in the SSL certificate format (more bits or something like that on a more modern certificate).
