Osmodio Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 (edited) Hi, I installed a brand new Shelly plus i4 together with the "Shelly Wall Switch 4" as follows The cables of the Wall switch are connected to the Shelly with cable-end sleeves. I configured each input as a "button" Each input toggles another shelly device (Shelly 1) using "Actions". Everything worked fine for about a week. Suddenly "Input 4" stopped working. I checked in the app and the web interface as well. Wenn I press the button, the input is just not recognized (shows N/A). The other 3 inputs continue to work as expected. I tried the following: Rebooting the Shelly Firmware update Check the cable connections Switch the cables of two buttons to verify that the problem is the shelly and not the wall switch What else can I do? For me it seems like a defect of the shelly. Appreciate your help! Johannes PS: I installed quite a lot of other Shellys before. Got some experience in electrical installations as well Edited October 16, 2024 by Osmodio Quote Translate Revert translation? Obviously, the input has gone… With a certain likelihood the terminal screw was fastened with excess torque, which causes the solder joint to break… Edited October 16, 2024 by thgoebel 2 Quote Translate Revert translation? Don't think I used a lot of torque, but sounds reasonable anyway 1 Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) French German Italian Polish Portuguese (European) Spanish
