Dejanpan
Hi there , I am cross posting from https://www.facebook.com/groups/ShellyIoTCommunitySupport/permalink/8188932084539417/ This is a question about 1PM/2PM Shelly Relais Z-wave vs WiFi. I am planning to install about 50 Shelly relais into our home behind the traditional light switches. The thinking is that I'd like to have this many devices on the non-WiFi protocol in order to not impact the performance of the WiFi. However, I am experiencing issues with the Qubino Z-wave devices in the testing I've done so far. Issues I get are long communication delays, device disconnects from the mesh, device gets in the power fault mode, ... The testing so far has been done with Aeotec and Smartthings. All together this led to a really suboptimal user experience. This led me to the decision that I will be switching to Home Assistant. Now a question for you: Do you recommend installing 50+ Qubino Z-wave relais? Will they behave reliably? Have others tried such large deployments? Or would you rather suggest installing the 50+ Shelly WiFi relais? If yes - will they not impact a solid home WiFi system such as the one based on DECO XE75? I know that the question is quite high level but I could only do some limited testing and this is a lot of money that I plan to invest here. Quote Translate Revert translation?
