Shelly Plus 1 PM turns on and off periodically when called by a button action.

Hi,

this is my first posting.

I have a few Shellys running in my home and they all work well.

But now I have a problem with a Shelly Plus 1 PM.

I want to turn on and off some existing LEDs in my kitchen.

It already works via the app, but when I add this action to a button, it doesn't matter if it's a Shelly Plus I4 or a Shelly Button 2, I get a strange behaviour.

When I use the button to turn on the LEDs the Shelly Plus 1 PM turns on. That's what you expect. 

But when I turn off the LEDs (via a button), the Shelly Plus 1 PM turns off and after a few seconds periodically turns on/off 3 to 4 times.

It's the same behaviour with a Shelly 1PM Mini.

 

Does anyone know what happens here and what I can do to fix this issue ?

I have a solution !

Maybe it's a workaround, but it works.

I have created a scene for the button and now lights go on and off with every button press.

 

But maybe someone can still explain me what is different when I use the app or actions for the buttons.

aybe the button is bouncing, so send more actions . have you introduced the minimum interval time between actions ?

Thank you for your feedback, but I think it has to be something different.

I have the same effect with a different couple 'I4 DC' and 'Plus 1PM'.

The 'Plus 1PM' should switch a power socket.

When I use actions I have also this issue that I get this periodical on/off 3 to 4 times.

But a scene works well !?

Jetzt habe ich es wieder hinbekommen.

Vermutlich falsch, aber das Licht schaltet damit periodisch an und aus (3-4 mal).

Das ist die Aktion auf einem I4 'Taste wird gedrückt'.

Teste mal bitte alle im Browser 

so wie er dort steht mit =toggle

dann mal mit =on und mit off 

wie reagiert der Plus dann?
 

was hast du an deinem I4? Taster/Schalter und was ist im I4 konfiguriert?

1. Der I4 ist als Taster konfiguriert.

2. Jeder toggle-Aufruf im Browser schaltet nur 1 mal den 1PM

3. turn=off schaltet auch nur 1 mal aus.

4. turn=on schaltet nur 1 mal an.

Im Browser ist der periodische Effekt nicht !?

Stelle mal bitte in der WebUI um auf Schalter und Speicher das, dann wieder auf Taster und wieder speichern.

FW ist an allen aktuell, müsste beim Plus PM ja 1.4.2 sein (beim I4 bestimmt auch)

Das Umstellen Taster/Schalter/Taster hat leider auch nichts gebracht.

Die FW ist auf allen Geräten aktuell.

Na ja, über die Szene funktioniert es ja.
