Hello,

the web page of Shelly device usually provide a configuration to "restrict login". This is explained here:

This page also states that "This feature can be enabled on Shelly App as well as from the Local interface of the devices. " and it shows a screenshot of the app.

However, my app/cloud UI does not show the "restricted login" configuration option:

As you can see, there's not "restricted login" configuration option.

 

Where is it or is it not available with newer devices on the app/cloud?

Ah, the help page still calls it "Authentication". So Shelly needs to update the help page to keep it up to date with the recent firmware.

Nevertheless I overlooked that the help text also states: "this feature is available for local usage of the devices. It is not enabled for cloud connected devices. "
