Colin
My Shelly EM have been running for about 2 years prior to it stop working last year. I haven't been bothered to check it out until now. The device is making a hissing noise when it is powered up almost like water running through a pipe. P1 and P2 is measuring 10ohm but the device doesn't show up in the app. I've tried resetting it by pressing the reset button for 10 sec. The red light is still showing, and I cannot see anything burnt on the board. Is there any way to know for sure that it is dead? Quote Translate Revert translation? Members thgoebel
Most likely, an electrolytic capacitor has dried out. A symptom is the noise. This capacitor(s) may be replaced, rendering full functionality… Quote Translate Revert translation?
