lobin Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 Having a Wall Display, I'm looking for a possibility to use it as a commando center to controll my home automation consisting of many devices and controlled by openhab. However, I was not able to find any possibility to display own data (provided by json feed for example). Is there any possibility to customize it ? 1 Quote Translate Revert translation? Tohatsu Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 yes this would be of great interest, I'm for example looking for a way to display the current electricity-price on the display Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) French German Italian Polish Portuguese (European) Spanish
Luigi Posted October 22, 2024 Posted October 22, 2024 A simple command to show a bitmap on the WD (fullscreen) would be great. A HTTP request of an action could return a PNG file (e.g. base64 encoded). Or a bitmap could be pushed via REST API. And if the WD would report the coordinates of finger taps and gestures, a local server (e.g. Raspberry Pi) could use the WD as an external display. Very simple and extremely flexible. Would love such a feature! 1 Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) French German Italian Polish Portuguese (European) Spanish
