Iver
Hello, I have a couple of 2-way switches, where I want to use Shelly relays. I have bought a couple of Plus 2PMs and Plus 1s. Thr 2PMs are all used up for blinds and the 1s were intended for light switches. My light switches are wired as shown in the picture. Where and how do I put the 1s? Thanks! Iver
Hello, thanks for the quick response. I do not understand that picture to be honest. I am not doing the work myself, a qualified electrician is, but he never worked with Shelly relays 🙂 Is the relay connected to the first (main) switch? What are the two black wires between the switches? The arrows point to each other
Heinz
If you give the diagram to the electrition then he will 100% understand how to install it the only thing I think he would not is include the device into the network
wooly
probably would have been better if on the shelly 1 since there is a slot for another terninal, be used a SPDT relay, so putting it in series with the switch. This would have the additional advantage that in case of malfunctioning of the shelly the light could be anyway be operated by the switches, (the switch on shelly would have been used as a sensor to know the position of all the switches ... there is a nice trick to do it.
