xav73 Posted August 30, 2024 Posted August 30, 2024 Hi, I'm looking for the refresh period of the powermeter included in the Shelly Pro EM-50. Is it around 1 second, 10 seconds, 1 minute? To explain my need: I want to use a Shelly Pro EM-50 to monitor the instantaneous consumed power of my house, in order to disable certain device when the power I subscribed from my provider is exceeded . If the refresh period is too high, my provider's electric meter will cut the power before I could do anything. Thank you in advance! Quote Translate Revert translation? xav73 Posted December 23, 2024 Author Posted December 23, 2024 I respond to myself after I bought a Shelly Pro EM-50. The refresh period of the powermeter is at least 1 second (I didn't try a smaller period as 1 second fits my need). To go deeper in details, I send trough MQTT the result of EM1.getStatus, and I get a (realistic) different value each second. Quote Translate Revert translation?
