elsdeniep
After setting a fixed IP address (on the router) for my Shelly dimmer 2, the dimmed lights switch off after a about 5 seconds. If I set it below 20% intensity however, the lights stay on. I have tried the following: - change the button type - reverse inputs - undo fixed ip address - run calibration - device reboot Is this a known issue? What could I try to solve this? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Edited August 29 by elsdeniep
Heinz
Does the device switch off completely or just disconnect from the network?
elsdeniep
The lights switch off. The dimmer stays connected to the wifi network. (I have edited the start of the topic since it was not very clear indeed) Edited August 29 by elsdeniep
Heinz
have you tried doing a hard reset of the device and then just to be sure check the firmware version and see what it does
elsdeniep
I will try that tonight. What exactly is a hard reset: back to factory settings via the interface of the dimmer? Edited August 29 by elsdeniep
