Robertoho
Hi I have the following situation: in an underground parking there is light and a ventilation. Up to now both is switched on an off by a motion detector. My need is to have the ventilation running while the light is on (switched by motion detector when someone is in the parking) AND additionally when light is out switched by me or a time plan to rise air quality or lower humidity. As a nice side effect I could measure the used energy by the ventilation. I assumed this would be easy work with the cabling as mentioned in the attached picture. But it doesn't work that way. The problem is that the Mini1PMGen3 relais stays switched on all the time - even when the light is out and the black wire (connected to SW) is "off". I found out that the black wire is connected/bridged to neutral (blue) when the motion detector switches the light off. So it seems that the SW entry not only switches with live/power connected but also with neutral connected. With the light off I can connect and disconnect the black wire from SW entry and the Mini1PBGen3 relais toggels on and off. How to solve that? Another relais? Shelly Olsche Posted August 27 Shelly Share Posted August 27 SW input is permanently switched by the existing N potential via the lamp here and should be decoupled by a separate small relay so that it works
