amauryq
I have a led pool lights from Jandy that works with 12V A/C, and the fixture they sold cost $300. Can I use a shelly plus 1 or 2pm to control via wifi? Or another shelly product you recommend? thanks Amaury
Shelly Olsche Posted August 18 Shelly Share Posted August 18 Plus1 only works with 12v DC and not AC. But maybe a plus uni together with a downstream relay is a solution for you? https://kb.shelly.cloud/knowledge-base/shelly-plus-uni
Members thgoebel
Jandy pool lights are working with a 2-wire bus, which transports the energy from the controller to the lamp (14 V AC) and the control signal for RGBW. The protocol stack is proprietary and unknown. Thus, the controller is a must and not replaceable by another appliance.
