René Greuel Posted August 11 Posted August 11 Hi, I'm using the Shelly Plug 2 for controlling a warm water circulation pump. I want it to start every half hour and run for 15 minutes. The manual schedules seems to refuse more hooks wenn adding more than 20 entries. A cron like advanced syntax seems not exist for this device. How can I achieve the every 30 minutes schedule? I don't want it to be dependent on an external controller like home assistant. It has to work on its own. I highly appreciate every idea or help. Thanks Quote Translate Revert translation? Shelly Olsche Posted August 11 Shelly Posted August 11 Which shelly plug do you use exactly? Are you sure about the 15 minute breaks? Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
René Greuel Posted August 11 Author Posted August 11 It's the "Shelly plug 2". And yeah, 15/15 would be nice. But it would be also okay to go 30/30, but this is also not doable since there is no way to set 24 hooks, i.e. one for every hour. It seems strange to me that this is not possible. At least 24 configurations sound not to unusual or am I wrong? As a workaround I've now set it to to run from 6 to 22 every hour for 30 minutes. I found a knowledge base entry for the plug S, where they write about advanced config with cron. Sadly this is not possible with the plug 2 Thanks! Quote Translate Revert translation? Shelly Olsche Posted August 11 Shelly Posted August 11 It is not possible with an old gen1 plug. But with a Plus plug S you could, for example, create a loop using the timer auto on and timer auto off function. On for 15 minutes every 30 minutes would be possible without any problem. 2 Quote Translate Revert translation? English (American) Finnish French German Italian Portuguese (European) Spanish
