Sea Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 I have a working Shelly Dimmer 2 inside a traditional toggle switch. I can turn it on/off with the toggle switch on the wall. I can control the brightness with the Shelly web UI, but not the wall switch. What is a good way to add a physical brightness control switch to this setup? Preferably something cheap and uncomplicated. I know this question has come up in one way or another earlier in this forum, but there is no clear answer. Quote Translate Revert translation? Members thgoebel Posted August 8, 2024 Members Posted August 8, 2024 Use a single push button and you‘re able to adapt the light intensity by long button presses. A bit more comfortable is a double button: With this gadget, you‘ll have a button for dimming up and another for dimming down. 1 Quote Translate Revert translation? For anyone else's reference, the wiring diagram with the double-button-no-neutral setup is: 2 Quote Translate Revert translation?
