Plus Uni cannot find ds20b18 Temperature Sensor

Hi there!

I have tried to connect a temperatur sensor ds18b20 to new Plus Uni. The Plus uni has recent firmware 1.3.3.

I connect the Sensor as described in the manual to Sensor VCC, Data an ground, as in manual desribed. After that I tried to add peripheral in the shelly GUI. Unfortunately the sensor cannot be found by the shelly. The error message is "Temperature DS18B20 peripherals not found." 

I tried also another sensor and another Plus Uni, the result is always the same. - Has anybody an idea what could be wrong?

BTW: some time ago I added succsessfully up to five ds18b20 to a shelly plus addon on an Shelly Plus 1 - I never hab a problem with one of the sensors...

I can't reproduce any problem here with DS18B20 and Plus Uni with 1.3.3. Please show your cabling again exactly (photo)

I have already fixed the issue: It seems, that I had two broklen sensors. - They were new, but they did not work nevertheless. 
When I tried the third sensor, it worked properly.

I believe there's a lot of junk out there in terms of sensors. I've also come across a lot of broken ones.

So you buy Shelly temp sensor and you need to believe 2 out of 3 doesnt work when bringing home from store? Well, seems industry level six sigma is in use here, omg.

Same stuff. Peripheral ds18b20 not found. But it allows connect DHT22 which I dont have. Cabling is correct.

Have you put a 5600Ω pull up on data line ?
Out of 5 sensors 3 worked fine even without, 2 not;

on another master the same, but one of those that worked on the first uni without pullup did not worked on the second, and one that on first wanted the pullup worked without on the second. Anyway all worked with the pullup

Same problem here with a ds18b20 and a shelly 1 plus. 

@wooly by the pull up resistor: do you mean connecting the resistor between the data line pin and the Vcc pin of the sensor ? Is that right? Or is it any other configuration ? Many thanks for your inputs on this.
