  1. hi all, I have a led panel with a supporting 0-10v driver. If I measure the voltage on the driver it provides 10v (9.88 but hey thats good enough) when I now use the 0-10 v shelly, it doesn't dim, but 100% and on => does turn the panel on, and anything below 100% or off does turn the panel off. Does anyone have a clue what could be wrong here? (is it possibly a faulty shelly?) I might have another 0-10v shelly but it's behind a fixture 3.5 meters high so preferably I'd skip that step if there is stuff i can test. the shelly itself probably can't show the voltage its regulating?
  2. poe = one wire going to switch non poe = utp + power + separate fuse. plus the cost of the switch is very high comparatively
  3. if you limit the use to only the shelly I'd agree but sometimes a camera or nvr solution near your cabin isn't rare. certainly given the formfactor of the switch i linked, I found the explanation of shelly: 'it can't be done at this size' very strange. the unify hardware would fit in the shelly housing with little effort. also sometimes a switch is just used to daisy chain to another switch f.e. -> i have a UTP cable up to my garage this connects to a unify switch in my electric cabinet and continues to another switch near the cnc and plasma cutter, thus that whole switch is now limited to 100mb if i were to daisy chain. plus allowing poe would in case of belgian law not only reduce the nr of wires in the cabinet but also the switch needs a another fuse as well..
  4. Hi all, I just re-watched the March 5th stream where they introduced the switch (and just got a mail about it as well) I must say i was kind of 'shocked' to see Dimitri say: we could not introduce POE because of the size limits etc (and said nothing about it being only 10/100) but how can size be the issue? I'd like to sketch with a picture attached. a fully managed switch 5 ports total can be powered with POE or usb C and look at the size comparison vs 1module wide shelly this switch is also a bit cheaper so pricepoint shouldn't be the thing.. is it just me or could shelly have done better?
  5. Can we find a list of the firmware versions somewhere? and currently you can only upgrade firmware with the debug app or not?
  6. I'll check the integration with HA isn't 'super' yet. (the button itself is working fine for me) but in HA at least is you make an automation using 'button pressed' this gets triggered every time the beacon is sent 🙂 So maybe some weird shenanigan's on the bt home front. I'll see wha thappens if i use the shelly app to do the same thing
  7. hey lads, I've just enabled beacon mode ON via the debug app -> this doesn't only update the battery every 8 secs it also sends the push command every 8 secs 🙂 my lights were confused 😄
