Unfortunately it is wired from the front which makes it unusable for a really professional use. I have never seen a device being wired from the front in a distribution panel.

Please Shelly redesign with wiring from the back. If the device becomes a little wider, so be it.

Just read about this device and its features. For me personally there is no need for the temperature or humidity sensors in the electrical distribution cabinet, but there are metering devices nearby, like water and gas counters, which have usually reed contacts or can be extended with them, and they need counter inputs.

Does anyone know if there are plans to finally add this feature to any not-DIY-devices like this AddOn? Currently the counter input feature exists only for the Plus UNI, but it is a hobbyist device, not serious one for installations. Maybe someone who has a connection to the Shelly product management can ask about it? This AddOn would be an ideal candidate for this covering this in the Shelly world.
