Of course my first attempt was to use the AP connection to update.  However it tells me there are no updates.  Since I know there should be a 1.7.xx from other posts here, I click on check for updates but get the same.  After I turn on the diagnostics I try again and get the log below… apparently there is a problem with “Host not found” … something with Shelly server as my internet is working just fine.

I see there is an option to update from a file so I set about looking for the latest stable firmware version to manually download.   After Several HOURS I find that apparently this is not possible.  So why the option to even “Update from file?”

… my Yolink devices were dead simple to connect.  Can’t overstate my disappointment with Shelly. That’s two days of my life I won’t get back. 

Is there anyone who can tell me how to fix the issue?  I’m at the end of my rope and about to just return the devices and give up.

Any suggestions? There really isn't any debug info on Shelly's site for this device.

Ist eine Verbindung zwischen "O" und "N". Bekomme das Bild leider nicht hochgeladen.

Habe es dann auch gleich gemerkt, dass was komisch ist, als mir der FI 2 Mal geflogen ist, wenn man den Schalter auf "ON" stellt.

est-il possible d'avoir un suivi de consommation avec un 1PM Gen4 connecté sur un radiateur avec fil pilote et qui est utilisé uniquement en mode confort/Eco. Le 1PM est relié à un capteur H$T Gen3 et activé par la fonction Thermostats de Shelly Control. La bascule Confort/Eco fonctionne mais je n'ai aucun suivi de consommation.

I have connected a new Shelly 1PM Gen4 to home assitant Zigbee2MQTT. 
(I had to get it close to my main HA Zigbee antena to do this)

But when I put it at its final location (which is closer to another zigbee node) I get failed interrogation.

I can still switch it on or off but I do not get any values for voltage or other sensors.

Any Idea ?

(my firmware version is 20251003-145442/1.7.1-gd336f31)

My questions:
    1.    Can the Shelly 1PM Gen4 be powered from 240V across the two hot legs (L1 and L2) without a neutral? The specs show it needs L and N terminals.

    2.    If neutral is required, is there an alternative Shelly product that can switch and meter a 16A/240V load without neutral?

    3.    I have a standard US residential breaker panel — no DIN rails. The Shelly Pro series requires DIN rail mounting. Is there a solution for 240V loads that fits in a standard US electrical box or at the outlet location?
I’d like to stay in the Shelly ecosystem if possible. Any guidance appreciated!

Can we connect the phase to the output even if the shelly is open? (A sort of parallel connection) :

Would't it be possiple to just add the same 5-pin terminal as in the Shelly 1 mini Gen3? With this, there could be two N-terminals on the right hand side, allowing to loop through the neutral without the need of an additional external clamp.

I would like to use the shelly in zigbee state controlled by Home Assistant (HA).
 

I have the new shelly updated/ converted to zigbee FW. Allmost default settings,  only IP address etc to connect to ZHA on HA.

My dedicated server HA is updated to the latest version,  also all add-ons etc.

What I see is that when I switch on the shelly,  it goes off after 11-20s.
Together with google.gemini the cause has be found.  HA is requesting same data like state, power, voltage, watts and other data.  The shelly does not respond to the request.
This results into that HA state of the shelly is inaccessible and let the shelly go off again.

On advice from gemini, i tried to change some parts in a cluster to overcome temporary the issue.  But the shelly is not accepting any change in the power cluster.

The only resolution at the moment is to revert back to wifi.

Question: What is the correct endpoint / method to switch switch:0 on/off via Shelly Cloud for Gen4 devices on shelly-237-eu?

Is this only possible via Cloud Control API v2 WebSocket, and if so, what’s the recommended backend implementation?

I have currently a Shelly plus 1 connected as described in this drawing :

The switch is in fact a contact provided by Electrical company to indicate lower price rates times. This has to be protected with max 2A breaker.

I would like to replace my shelly plus 1 by Shelly 1PM gen4 mainly to include power mesurement.

I have a question regarding the replacement of an Eltako S12 100 with a shelly 1PM Gen 4.

After the replacement I can switch on and off my corridor light with my smart phone. However the light switch ("Taster") are no longer working.

I would be very thankful for any advice how to include the shelly to use both smart phone and light switch.

I bought a 1PM GEN4 relay (8A) ref S4SW-001/P8EU and I'm testing it with zigbee2MQTT.

It's powered by 220V AC on the N and L terminals.

When I power up the relay toggles from OFF state to ON state (I hear the click). But my ohmmeter indicates that the SW terminal is not connected to the O terminal.

I activated the Shelly Wi-Fi server to access the web server. In the input/output settings : the Input mode is Switch and Action on power on is Turn ON

Which settings are incorrect?

I read at several places that the 1PM Gen4 can't have both Zigbee and BT proxy enabled at the same time. Is this a software problem and will this be fixed or is this intentional and will this stay this way? I would prefer not to have to connect it to WIFI to support both. I'd be interested to buy these Shelly's if they support both. Thanks in advance. 

I'm having issues getting my shelly working with a sliding gate. 

The gate is a TDA DKC301DC, manual is attached - page 9 is the wiring diagram. 

The Shelly is wired to the 240v power supply, fires a up, is visible in the app and I can hear the relay clicking on and off when controlled in the app, but it doesn't actually control the gate.

For the output, I've tried "o" to keypad/osc and "sw" to com, and vice versa. I've tried changing the switch setting to detached, momentary etc, and changed the auto off timer to 1s, but nothing is working to get the gate moving. 

Anyone have any ideas??

A friend has a boiler with 2 phases, drawing power from the 2 phases only, I know it's unusual!

The boiler is a De Dietrich SR 301, installed in Switzerland.

The manual explains how to connect power, Phase L1 and L2 and both neutral on the same pin.

I try to connect 2x Shelly Gen 4 1PM, one on each phase but no power monitoring available, why ?

I know it's not communicating to have a boiler using 2x phases only, but need help to monitor power.

When I turn the switch (external or software switch on) then the little power consumption display (aka the “small parameter widget”) goes away. 
This doesn’t happen when I switch Gen3 devices on

Any ideas what it might be?
